Polaroids from San Diego.
I’ve been pretty neglectful of this blog…so here is a quick recap of what I’ve been up to this past month….
(^ cool art kids ^)
I graduated with a B.F.A. in studio art.
(^ even cooler photo kids ^)
We partied like rock stars…kind of.
Three days after graduation I flew to San Diego to visit a friend and hang out for a week.
Fell in love with San Diego (more pictures later).
Met my friends adorable baby Harley!
Then spent the weekend in Pittsburg visiting friends.
(snap shot of my latest work)
Now I’m back to work and back in the studio trying to figure out my next move!
I entered artwork in the 4th annual Eckhaus art auction.
I wont know if it got in or not till the actual event, but either way it’s a good cause so be there!
Got a nice little surprise a few days ago…
A friend had congratulated me on getting work into our Fine Arts and Literary Magazine: Essence. I had no idea what she was talking about until she showed me my work in the magazine. I had enter my work way back in the fall and they had told me they would email me if my work was accepted. However, I never got that email…I kind of liked it that way though! It was like a super late birthday gift from a relative you hardly know.
The print quality is horrible for my images, but it’s still great to be recognized! Congrats to everyone else who got in!
Finally got all the Tiny Animals up on my website. click here to view them all
Finally getting around to posting some of my works from last semester up on my website!
Check on my light boxes inspired by Stan Brakhage’s, Mothlight.
